Water is the Life

                       Water is the Life

Water is the life source for everything on this planet and for this reason, the World Health Organization has established 22, March as World Water Day. Water is just as important as oxygen for life, water after oxygen is the most important element for human life on earth. It is the main component of our body as 60% of an adult human body is made up of water. According to scientists, the human body needs more than 1 ½ liters of water per day to function properly. Only from our urine, we lose about 1 liter per day and if we add sweat, loss from our skin, and even from our breath then we reach 2.5 liters of water loss from our body per day. According to scientists, it is necessary to replenish the fluids we lose by drinking either water (6-8 glasses of water per day or 30ml per kilogram of body weight) or other beverages.

However, as they note, other beverages do not include coffee and tea as they are not considered a good way to hydrate. These drinks contain caffeine which has a diuretic effect and can help with dehydration. We must also not forget that in addition to the water we drink, some fruits or foods are very good sources of water. For example, watermelon, melon, carrots, lettuce, tomato, broccoli, apple, oranges, and grapefruit contain more than 80% water. Even the water contained in food counts in the fluid intake we receive daily, as 20% of the fluid that an average person consumes comes from food, especially vegetables and fruits, such as cucumber and watermelon. Under normal circumstances, an adequate total daily intake of water from other sources, including food and beverages, is about 2.5 liters for adult males and 2 liters for adult females.

It is very important to mention that the profession we follow as well as the various stages of our lives differentiate our body's needs for fluids and water. For example in occupations where there is intense physical exercise and fatigue, eg in gymnasts, builders, and in manual labor where there is intense sweating, as well as during breastfeeding, where there is intense milk production from the breast, the amount of fluid intake should exceed 3 liters per day.

It is also worth noting that the intake differs depending on the season in which we are, for example in summer the water losses, mainly through sweating, are 40% higher. Similarly in winter, the percentage of dehydrated people is 8% lower than in summer. Thirst, as experts say, is the main signal that our body sends to send the message that it needs water. But it also uses other mechanisms to regulate the water balance it needs. That is if the water level in the body decreases then there are mechanisms that reduce the loss of water through the kidneys, which have the ability to collect urine thus reducing the loss of water from them. However, there are situations in which the water balance becomes negative and then, unfortunately, lurks the risk of dehydration, which is life-threatening. In severe dehydration, we have a problem with our blood pressure as it falls dangerously and the blood circulation is reduced as a result of which the tissues are not well oxygenated and the tissues and organs are not supplied with the necessary nutrients. In this case, we have severe dizziness, loss of consciousness, tachycardia, and kidney failure, while death can occur.

According to scientists, we must be very careful with the activities we do and especially in conjunction with the weather. For example, intense exercise under the hot sun or when the atmosphere has high levels of humidity poses a high risk of immediate dehydration of our body. In this case, we must consume large amounts of water. Also, when we are not used to high temperatures, then we must be especially careful about our holidays. Water plays a very important role in our body and our life. Without water, there is no life. The nutrients contained in various foods cannot be directly "grown" in the body. They must be dissolved and processed by the liquid before they can be absorbed and used by the body. There are various fluids that help digestion in the mouth, stomach, intestines, liver, and other organs. Blood and lymph circulate in the body day and night, transporting oxygen and nutrients to various internal organs; urine and sweat excrete waste products from the body.

This is the process of metabolism. Breathing, excretion, and sweating can also take away the heat, keeping a person's body temperature always normal. You know, the heat generated by a person throughout the day and night can boil 20 kilograms of water, thanks to the help of water adjustment. Diarrhea can drain unclean food; tears can wash away the dust flying into the eyes. If there is no water, how can these "intruders" are cleared out? The words "liquid", "sweat", "tears", "diarrhea" and "urine" all carry "water" from our body. The importance of water is self-evident. Water is a highly skilled chemist, water is an excellent transporter, water is a regulator of body temperature, and water is a good lubricant. Water is the guardian of the human body, diligent and loyal. You can last for dozens of days without eating, and you can't live for a week without water.

The human body is like a machine and thirsty means that the brain has issued an order to replenish water as soon as possible. If you do not drink water at this time, the whole machine will fail. Drink at least a glass of water between meals. Drinking water should also be scientific and hygienic. Although the beverages sold in the store taste good, they may cause obesity, and the added things are also irritating to the stomach. Some drinks are shoddy and unsterilized, and drinking them can even cause diseases. Naturally cooled fresh boiled water has specific biological salt, which not only supplements the salt but also helps prevent constipation.

There are a lot of truths about drinking water here, and it is up to everyone to develop good habits. But the comforting thing is that using the same amount of water (including purified water, mineral water, etc.) instead of the same amount of sweet drinks or juices, you will also get a significant weight loss every four years, about 0.35-0.6 kg Weight (pictured below), so it’s too late to change your drinking habits now! Drinking water and the risk of kidney stones This meta-analysis included 7 high-quality population research results (note: including two low-quality studies, which were excluded when the editor cited the results), involving more than 270,000 people. The results of the study indicate that an average daily direct intake of about 2500 ml of total water can reduce the risk of kidney stones by 51% compared with people who consume less than this amount of drinking water and bladder cancer.

The main reason for searching for the risk of drinking water and bladder cancer is that some friends worry about drinking too much water every day. Will, they put too much pressure on their bladder and cause bladder cancer? The result is that you don’t have to worry about it! Drinking is equally important to water. It is clear that the importance of drinking enough water, we also need to drink the right water. At this time, there are probably several aspects that friends need to keep in mind:

1. Water should be drunk while sitting and water should be drunk while watching and water should be drunk in three breaths

2. The timing of drinking water should be reasonable: for example, a glass of boiled water in the morning can be used to dilute the gastric juice to supplement the water loss overnight.

3. Pay attention to the amount of water in a single drink: Do not drink too much water at a time, this will increase the body fluid volume in a short time and increase the burden on the heart.

4. Drinking water should have a reasonable temperature: water that is too cold or hot will not only hurt the stomach but also cause significant damage to the esophagus.

5. The choice of a water source should be safe: remember not to drink functional water blindly.

The nutrient intake from the water is actually very small. The main function of drinking water is to supplement "water". Water is the nutrient that everyone is most likely to ignore or pay too much attention to. Ignore it because some friends may not remember to drink water until they are thirsty. At this time, the state of water shortage in the body is already very obvious, so ensure good drinking habits every day.
